The company is seeking a specialist who has strong experience handling carrier partnerships across mobile operators, international carriers, regional providers, and domestic networks.
This is an individual contributor position focused on supporting the voice business through collaboration with telecom carriers and aggregators. The ideal candidate should understand the SMS aggregation landscape, how routing is managed, and the key players in the market. Knowledge of route acquisition, in-country SMS capabilities, local regulations, and market dynamics will be a plus. The ability to communicate and work in a local language is also advantageous.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee relationships with carriers, mobile operators, and SMS aggregation partners.
- Secure strong pricing, service quality, reliability, feature sets, and support across the assigned markets through ongoing communication and negotiation.
- Stay current on market developments, competitor activity, regulations, and broader industry trends.
- Collaborate with existing partners to broaden reach and improve coverage.
- Partner with the wholesale team to manage bilateral relationships in a way that benefits the business.
- Work with sales teams to uncover opportunities and develop new destinations and competitive feature offerings.
- Track and assess traffic patterns and business results proactively.
- Improve routing efficiency and global delivery performance.
- Implement pricing updates quickly and accurately.
- Coordinate with suppliers and operations teams to diagnose and resolve issues when required.
