- Oversee, guide and train staff members while ensuring compliance with safe work procedures and quality, health and safety standards.
- Support daily resort functions, help residents, carry out facility inspections, manage waste and respond to emergencies.
- Assist with meal service, resident activities and transport, including driving the resort bus when needed.
- Carry out administrative duties such as reception support, timesheets, utility readings and maintaining records.
- Assist with pre-loved home sales by answering enquiries, conducting tours and helping with resident onboarding and handover processes.
- Promote and maintain workplace health and safety practices across the resort.
- Respond to urgent incidents and help maintain site security.
- Provide warm, professional resident service that supports a positive community atmosphere and protects the resort’s reputation.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant background of 3 to 5 years in caretaking, facilities, maintenance, groundskeeping or village/resort operations.
- Practical experience with general maintenance, gardening and property upkeep in a residential, hospitality or resort setting.
- Prior exposure to supervising, training or coordinating staff and contractors.
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence and confidence operating larger vehicles or buses.
- Administrative capability, strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to operate and look after groundskeeping machinery and tools safely.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work methods.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills for dealing with residents, families and visitors.
- Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving ability, especially in sensitive situations.
- Calm and effective response style in emergencies.
- Hands-on, proactive attitude with a strong commitment to presentation and service standards.
- Ability to manage several priorities independently with good organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive pay package, including accommodation and utilities.
- Flexible hours that support work-life balance.
- 24/7 access to a confidential and compassionate employee assistance program.
- Long-service style milestone rewards.
- A supportive, inclusive team environment where contributions are recognised.
