Role overview
Heritage Lifecare is hiring a full-time Caregiver to join Waterlea Lifecare in Blenheim, Marlborough. This is a permanent role supporting residents in a warm, family-style care home with 61 beds. The position offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing, comfort, and day-to-day care of older adults in a supportive environment.

Location and lifestyle
The role is based in Blenheim, in the Marlborough region, at Waterlea Lifecare. The area is known for its scenic surroundings, mountains, walking tracks, wineries, warm weather, and easy lifestyle. What you will do

Experience and skills
The ideal candidate will already have experience supporting others, preferably in an aged-care setting. You should have strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a practical approach to solving problems, and a sincere commitment to helping people. A solid understanding of health and safety practices and a mindset focused on ongoing improvement are also important.
Qualifications
A minimum of NZQA Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing is required, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification such as a Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing. The employer also expects at least two years of experience in a caregiver role or a similar position.
