Compensation
The pay for this position is $16 per hour.
Important Requirements
Please review the following conditions carefully before applying:
- You must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months after receiving your permit or intermediate license, and you must be willing to drive clients in a company van.
- You need to be available for one full week of paid orientation, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- You should be prepared to work with individuals who may show high-risk behaviors, including physical and verbal aggression.
What You Will Do
In this caregiver role, you will support individuals in ways that help them grow, build confidence, and live more independently. The position involves forming genuine relationships, encouraging community participation, and helping participants engage in activities they enjoy.
- Provide meaningful daily support that helps people learn, develop, and live well.
- Build trusted relationships with the individuals you support.
- Work with guidance from leadership while using sound judgment to do what best supports participants.
- Encourage participation in community activities and favorite pastimes.
- Help individuals work toward goals such as budgeting, physical activity, and healthy eating.
- Assist with personal hygiene and support people with behavioral challenges and more complex needs.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
- At least 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
- You must have a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible, and comfortable working in a team setting.
- Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, and time-management skills are important.
