Role Summary
The Careers Consultant will take the lead in delivering expert careers education, information, and guidance to students and recent graduates so they can develop their career potential and gain the skills needed for the future world of work. The postholder will also manage and shape the relationship between assigned Schools/Disciplines and the Careers Service, ensuring services and course content are adapted to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Position Details
This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week. The position is graded on the Administrative 1 scale (Points 1–3) with a salary range of €69,545 to €89,965 per year, subject to current government pay policy.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit both a CV and a cover letter of no more than one A4 page. The cover letter should clearly explain relevant experience and how it has strengthened the applicant’s knowledge, and it must also include examples showing the ability to work independently and solve problems. Applications that do not address these points in the cover letter will not be shortlisted.
