Role overview

Agincare is seeking a Care Coordinator in Worcester for someone who is comfortable turning strong organisation and people skills into real impact in care. The post suits either an experienced care professional looking for a fresh challenge or someone from workforce planning and scheduling who wants to apply those strengths in the care sector.

The main purpose of the role is to keep services running smoothly by coordinating carers, client needs and schedules so the right support is in the right place at the right time.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be organised, focused on people, and able to keep things moving in a busy environment. A strong eye for detail and the confidence to work under pressure are important. You must also have a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and at least 12 months remaining on your UK right to work.

Key duties

  • Arrange care provision and manage client timetables
  • Pair carers with clients according to individual requirements
  • Help put new care arrangements in place
  • Build rotas that support continuous and consistent care
  • Liaise with relatives, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Keep records of staff availability, absences, and urgent call-outs
  • Take part in the on-call rota when needed
  • Be willing to answer the on-call phone, with extra pay provided for this responsibility
