Car Detailer - FT

Role overview

Avis Budget Group is looking for someone to join the team right away as a full-time car detailer in Panama City, Florida. This is a hands-on, outdoor position for someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles clean, safe, and ready for customers. No prior experience is required.

You will help prepare rental vehicles so they meet cleanliness and quality expectations and are ready for the next customer. The role contributes directly to the customer experience by keeping vehicles presentable, reliable, and available.

What you will do

Your day-to-day work will focus on cleaning, inspecting, and getting vehicles rental-ready. You will work outdoors and may also be asked to move and organize vehicles across airport lots when needed.

• Wash, vacuum, and sanitize vehicle interiors and remove trash.
• Prepare vehicles for the next rental by ensuring they meet cleanliness standards.
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Inspect vehicles for body damage and watch for dashboard warning lights or indicators.
• Move, park, and arrange vehicles across airport lots as required.
• Help keep the fleet ready, dependable, and available for customers.

Pay and schedule

The pay rate is $15.00 per hour, and a shift premium may apply. Pay is issued bi-weekly on an hourly basis; in New York and Puerto Rico, weekly pay applies instead.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• You should take pride in producing clean, detailed work.
• You must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in a moderately noisy environment.
• You need the flexibility to work any shift.
• You must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and spend long periods standing, walking, bending, entering and exiting vehicles, and driving different vehicle types.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• This role must be performed on-site and cannot be done remotely.
