Role overview
Avis Budget Group is hiring right away for a hands-on vehicle care role. No prior experience is required. This opportunity is ideal for someone who likes active work, takes pride in doing things carefully, and enjoys being outdoors. In this position, you help prepare vehicles so they are clean, safe, and ready for customers.
The pay rate for this role is $10.50 per hour, and a shift premium may apply.
What you will do
You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles to meet company standards for quality and appearance. Day-to-day tasks include washing cars, vacuuming, sanitizing interiors, removing trash, and getting vehicles ready for the next rental.
You may also refuel vehicles, inspect fluid levels and tire pressure, look for body damage, and check dashboard warning lights. When needed, you will move, park, and organize vehicles throughout airport lot areas. Your work helps ensure the fleet stays ready, dependable, and available for customers.

Requirements
To be considered, you must have a valid driver’s license, take pride in clean and accurate work, and pay close attention to detail. The role requires comfort working outdoors in all kinds of weather and in a moderate noise environment. You should be open to working any shift.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 15 pounds and to continuously stand, walk, bend, get in and out of vehicles, and operate different types of vehicles. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States. This is an on-site position and cannot be done remotely.
