Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the Capture Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving and securing new business prospects. This position involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to establish delivery strategies, coordinate product demonstrations or prototype solutions, and ensure that Aurizn's proposals align with customer operational demands and program goals.
Key Duties
- Identify and assess strategic Defence opportunities that align with company growth plans.
- Lead the development and execution of capture strategies for key projects.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Work closely with delivery teams to formulate competitive, customer-centric solutions.
- Oversee capture activities including bid strategies, proposal creation, and submissions.
- Integrate best practices in opportunity development and capture processes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support initiatives aimed at strategic expansion.
Candidate Profile
- Eligibility to obtain NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Capture Campaigns, Business Development, or comparable roles within the Defence sector.
- Demonstrated success in building client relationships and securing complex contracts.
- Strong commercial insight with expertise in capture management and proposal development.
- Sound technical knowledge facilitating effective communication with clients and delivery teams.
- Good grasp of project management principles to liaise effectively with delivery groups.
- Familiarity with capture management methodologies like Shipleys, adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
