Canteen Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview

Farmfoods is looking to hire dedicated Canteen Assistants for their new distribution center located at Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL, starting August 2026. This is a permanent full-time role involving preparation and serving of hot and cold meals within the canteen facilities.

Working Hours and Compensation

• The role requires 37.5 hours per week, distributed over 5 days including at least one weekend day.
• Hourly pay rates are £13.69 for morning shifts and £14.85 for late and night shifts.
• Guaranteed minimum weekly hours of 37.5 with potential availability of overtime for additional earning.

Key Duties

• Preparing various types of food items for service.
• Cooking and serving meals at the counter to staff and visitors.
• Receiving deliveries and organizing kitchen storage appropriately.
• Maintaining stock levels by replenishing refrigeration units.
• Ensuring cleanliness of kitchen tools, appliances, and working areas.
