Role overview

Hudson River Trading is hiring an ambitious, outcomes-driven recruiter to join its Campus Recruiting team in Singapore. The position centers on developing durable relationships with universities and students to help the firm consistently engage strong technical talent early in their careers.

This is a high-ownership role with significant independence and influence over campus hiring strategy, supported by a collaborative global team. The work spans the full campus recruiting lifecycle, from attraction efforts such as sourcing, marketing, and event planning, through evaluation steps including interviews and offer management. The ideal person enjoys leading initiatives end to end and delivering a polished, candidate-first experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and engage high-potential technical candidates across campuses in the APAC region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with university stakeholders such as faculty members and campus contacts, including through information sessions and networking events.
  • Represent the company at campuses and recruiting events, often requiring frequent travel.
  • Plan and run campus recruiting events from start to finish, handling all related logistics.
  • Work with recruiting coordinators to design efficient interview workflows and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Guide candidates through interviews and offers while keeping the candidate experience strong.
  • Partner with interns, mentors, and hiring managers on intern evaluation and support select program activities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, refine interview processes, and uphold a strong hiring standard.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in recruiting, university relations, program management, event management, or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with hiring pipelines for highly selective technical or academic talent.
  • Experience using ATS and CRM systems, along with analytics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A process-oriented, detail-focused mindset with strong analytical thinking.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and managing several priorities at once.
  • Mandarin language ability is a major advantage.
