Job description
Overview
U.S. Bank is seeking a collector to handle delinquent accounts by reviewing account records, reaching out to customers or clients by phone and written communication, and setting up repayment arrangements that help reduce losses for the organization. The role is based in the United States and follows an onsite schedule.
Schedule and Training
The start date for this position is August 3rd. Training runs for 4 weeks, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, Central Time. After training, the work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central Time.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential, along with 2 to 3 years of experience in collections and/or customer service work. Strong knowledge of collection practices, debt collection rules, and related laws is preferred, along with the ability to resolve exceptions, organize information, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
