Job Overview
We are seeking a proficient CAD Designer skilled in power distribution project design using industry-standard software tools such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. This role involves designing underground power line projects and requires a strong technical background and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating design layouts for underground power line projects using CAD software.
- Effectively managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Transmission and Distribution (T&D) underground power projects.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ArcGIS software.
- Experience related to underground, transmission, or distribution projects is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of underground powerline construction methods is a plus.
- Good understanding of Right of Way (ROW) and easement concepts.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
