Job description

About Riyadh Air

Riyadh Air (RX), based in Saudi Arabia’s capital, is a newly launched national carrier with a mission to redefine air travel. The airline aims to support the Kingdom’s growth as a major center for aviation and trade, connecting Saudi Arabia to over 100 destinations through a digitally led model.

About the Role

This position is focused on building and managing efficient cabin crew planning processes that support safe, smooth, and compliant airline operations.

The selected specialist will be responsible for creating optimized crew pairings, developing legally compliant and cost-conscious rosters, and coordinating training schedules so that crew resources remain ready for operational needs.

The role also involves setting up and overseeing the crew scheduling framework in line with GACA regulations, internal policies, and day-to-day operational requirements.

Close coordination with teams such as Training, Cabin Crew Performance Management, IOCC, and People and Culture will be essential to maintain crew readiness, welfare, and continuity of operations.

Data review and analysis will form a key part of the role, with the goal of improving planning accuracy, reducing operational exposure, and identifying ways to make rosters more productive.

The specialist will also be expected to handle compliance matters, including timely training completion and licence renewals, as well as manpower forecasting based on fleet changes and seasonal demand patterns.

Working with stakeholders on flight status communication and plan alignment will be important to support effective operational execution.

In addition, the role requires evaluating existing planning methods, spotting process gaps, and introducing automation where possible to improve overall efficiency.

About You

You should hold a degree and bring at least 4 years of experience in crew planning, crew scheduling, or manpower resource planning within a commercial airline.

Prior experience with data analysis, roster optimization, and regulatory compliance in a fast-moving airline environment is expected.

A solid understanding of aviation regulations, GACA requirements, and airline planning best practices is necessary.

Experience with NetLine Crew and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for planning, reporting, and analysis would be an added advantage.

You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite role based in the Riyadh Region.

The role does not specify salary, stipend, perks, number of openings, start date, or application deadline.

Applicants are expected to be degree qualified and experienced in airline crew planning, with no internship duration mentioned.

Interested candidates are invited to submit an application through the company’s hiring process.
