Role overview

Emirates is hiring cabin crew members who can represent the airline with warmth, confidence, and professionalism. This role is much more than delivering onboard service: safety, security, and calm leadership are central to the job. You will be the first point of support for passengers during their journey, helping them feel comfortable while also managing aircraft procedures responsibly.

The position is based in Dubai, with relocation support provided. Cabin crew receive world-class training at Emirates’ dedicated facility in Dubai, preparing them to handle service delivery, safety duties, and operational responsibilities on board.

What the role involves

The successful candidate will need to adapt quickly to different situations, communicate clearly, and maintain a reassuring presence for customers from many backgrounds. You will be expected to work as part of a team, stay solution-focused, and manage a busy and demanding flight schedule while delivering an authentic Emirates experience.

Qualifications and experience

  • You should have more than one year of experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to deliver strong service in a team setting are important.
  • Applicants must have completed at least Grade 12 / high school.
  • Strong written and spoken English is required.
  • Height requirement: at least 160 cm, with the ability to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes so emergency equipment can be accessed.
  • Visible tattoos are not permitted while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are fully covered with bandages or cosmetics.
  • Candidates must be able to meet the UAE employment visa requirements, as the base location is Dubai.

Salary and benefits

The compensation package has three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, an hourly payment for flown sectors, and an overseas meal allowance.

Base salary: AED 4,980 per month. Flying pay: AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80 to 100 flying hours each month. Average total pay: AED 11,244 per month, which is approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280. These figures are approximate for Grade II (Economy Class).

Meal allowances for overnight layovers are added to the salary in arrears the following month.

The company provides hotel accommodation as well as airport transport. Additional benefits include a tax-free salary, flying pay, profit share, concessional travel, relocation assistance for settling in Dubai, free accommodation and transport, medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.

Cabin crew are expected to remain available for a demanding work pattern and to uphold the Emirates service culture at all times.
