Job description
Role overview
Emirates is hiring cabin crew for a Dubai-based position with relocation support provided. In this role, you will represent the airline on board, welcoming passengers, guiding them throughout their journey, and ensuring they receive attentive, professional assistance.
This is a service role, but safety remains the top priority. You will be expected to manage cabin procedures with confidence, handle safety and security responsibilities, and deliver a calm, polished experience to customers from many backgrounds.
The airline provides training in Dubai through its learning facility, preparing crew members to meet the standards expected onboard.
Qualifications and experience
To be considered, you should have at least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service. A positive approach, strong teamwork, and comfort working with people from different cultures are important.
The minimum education level required is completion of high school (Grade 12). You must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
Physical and appearance requirements include a minimum height of 160 cm, with the ability to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes so emergency equipment can be accessed on all aircraft types. Visible tattoos are not allowed while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform unless they are covered with bandages or cosmetics.
You will be based in Dubai and must satisfy UAE employment visa requirements.
Personal attributes
The right candidate should consistently perform to a high standard, stay focused on solutions, and cope well with a demanding schedule. Emirates is looking for someone who can create an authentic customer experience and reflect the airline's professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan values.
Salary and benefits
Pay is made up of three parts: a fixed monthly base salary, hourly flying pay for operated flights, and an overseas meal allowance.
The base salary is AED 4,980 per month. Flying pay is AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80 to 100 hours per month. The average total monthly earnings come to AED 11,244, which is approximately USD 3,100, EUR 2,600, or GBP 2,280 for Grade II (Economy Class).
Meal allowances for overnight layovers are added to the salary in the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and transport to and from the airport.
Additional benefits include a tax-free salary, flying pay, profit sharing, concessional travel, relocation assistance for settling in Dubai, free accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
