Job description
Role overview
Join a large European airline group as cabin crew based in Nuremberg, Germany. This position is part of a growing network of more than 90 operating bases and supports a high-volume flight operation serving over 600,000 customers on more than 3,600 flights each day.
What the job involves
The role focuses on delivering a safe, polished and friendly onboard experience while keeping safety as the top priority. You will work early and late shifts, with early duties starting as early as 5:00 am and late duties sometimes finishing around midnight. The position is fast-paced, service-driven and suited to someone who enjoys helping people and staying energetic throughout a rostered schedule.
Training and growth
No previous cabin crew experience is required. Successful candidates receive fully funded training that covers the core skills needed for the role. After completing the course, you will be awarded cabin crew wings and prepared for flying duties. There are also clear career paths within the airline group, including progression to Cabin Supervisor, Base Supervisor, Regional Manager and potentially Director of Inflight.
Schedule and working style
The roster follows a fixed pattern of 5 days on and 3 days off. The work can be demanding, with early starts and late finishes, so it is best suited to applicants who are comfortable with shift work and an active service environment.
Assessment process
As part of the application process, candidates must complete a mandatory English proficiency test and a situational judgment test. Not completing these assessments will mean the application does not move forward to interview.
Requirements
Applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and/or travel freely across the airline network. The role calls for a height of roughly between 157 cm and 188 cm, the ability to swim 25 metres unaided while also supporting another person, and strong spoken and written English skills with the ability to pass an English language assessment. The employer is also looking for people who are flexible, hardworking, friendly, outgoing, adaptable, comfortable working rotating shifts, confident with the public, and motivated by service and travel.
Benefits
Perks include internationally recognised cabin crew training at no cost, a daily training allowance of €28, uncapped sales commission, heavily discounted staff travel, a fixed 5-on/3-off roster, opportunities to travel and experience new places with colleagues, free uniform in the first year with an annual allowance after that, and the stability of working for a financially secure airline. Contract arrangements may be direct or through an agency depending on the base.
