Role summary

In this retail buyer’s agent position, you will be based inside an Aussie store and work directly with mortgage brokers and in-store colleagues to turn finance-approved customers into completed property purchases. The role is designed around a built-in referral flow and a defined local territory, with the support of brand trust, technology, and internal teams.

What you will do

  • Work with clients who are ready to buy and develop a clear understanding of their property requirements.
  • Identify appropriate properties across on-market, pre-market, and off-market sources.
  • Carry out property research and due diligence before recommendations are made.
  • Manage negotiations and guide the purchase process through to completion.
  • Create and maintain productive relationships with key people across the property industry.
  • Provide a high standard of service that encourages trust, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with mortgage brokers to align property strategy with each client’s goals and timeframe.
  • Lead buyer strategy discussions and prepare tailored property briefs.

Requirements

  • A Class 1 or Full Real Estate Licence, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Evidence of successfully managing at least 20 residential transactions from start to finish.
  • A strong professional network that can help uncover off-market and pre-market opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of the local market and how buyers make decisions.
  • Negotiation ability that supports trust-building and strong outcomes.

Preferred profile

  • Experience as a buyer or property investor, with a practical understanding of the client journey.
  • Background dealing with off-market properties or investor-focused clients.
  • Comfort working in a high-autonomy environment where strong results are rewarded.
