  • Create purchase orders and follow procurement timelines.
  • Develop and preserve effective working relationships with suppliers.
  • Review supplier performance in relation to quality, price, and delivery reliability.
  • Work alongside project, engineering, commercial, and logistics teams.
  • Keep procurement activity aligned with project schedules and delivery targets.
  • Spot opportunities to reduce costs and limit supply chain exposure.
  • Assist with material tracking and logistics support across multiple project sites.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.
  • Follow company processes, health and safety expectations, and contractual obligations.

What we are looking for

  • Good commercial judgement and confidence in negotiation.
  • Background in construction, engineering, ICT, security, or data centre settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Practical experience using Excel and procurement systems.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy project environment.
  • A detail-focused, proactive, and practical problem-solving approach.

Desirable background

  • Previous exposure to data centre or mission-critical projects would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of procurement for electrical, mechanical, ICT, or security infrastructure is helpful.
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems is desirable.
  • Understanding of European supplier networks and supply chain operations is beneficial.

What is on offer

  • A permanent role with strong potential for long-term progression.
  • Exposure to prominent data centre and critical infrastructure projects across Europe.
  • A clear progression route toward Senior Buyer, Procurement Manager, and broader leadership roles.
  • Support for professional learning and industry qualifications.
  • The opportunity to join an expanding business in a high-growth market sector.
