About the Role

As a Butler at The St. Regis Singapore, you will be instrumental in upholding the brand's legacy of luxury and personalized service. You will embody the spirit of modern luxury by providing high-touch, creative, and original guest experiences. The Butler program is central to our heritage, and you will be the primary ambassador for this iconic service. Your role involves managing guest needs from pre-arrival through departure, coordinating with Butler Valets and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Building strong guest rapport, anticipating needs, and proactively addressing them are key aspects of this position. You will contribute to a safe and professional work environment, adhering to company policies, quality standards, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver bespoke experiences and personalized services to guests throughout their stay.
  • Manage all guest needs from pre-arrival arrangements to post-departure follow-up.
  • Coordinate the activities of Butler Valets and ensure support departments are prepared to meet guest requirements.
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs and take initiative to fulfill them.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with guests.
  • Ensure a safe and secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality in all guest interactions and services.
  • Maintain professional appearance, uniform, and communication at all times.
  • Physically perform job duties, which may include standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Demonstrated passion for service and uncompromising standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills.
