Sustayne is a growing family-owned business based in New York City, focused on creating well-designed, sustainable amenities for the hospitality sector. The company is building a meaningful and fast-moving business, and this position is intended for someone organized, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial who wants to contribute from day one.

The Business Operations Coordinator will support everyday company operations and gain practical exposure across multiple parts of the business. This is a strong fit for an early-career professional who wants to learn quickly, take responsibility, and make a visible impact in a small team environment.

Because the company is small, the role is broad and collaborative. The person in this position will help across operations, sales, client relationships, product work, and business expansion efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Keep daily operations running smoothly and help maintain team organization
  • Coordinate projects, schedules, and priorities across different functions
  • Support customer communication and relationship management
  • Assist with sales activity and business development work
  • Work with vendors, partners, and suppliers as needed
  • Help manage inventory, product rollouts, and operational workflows
  • Carry out research and surface potential growth opportunities
  • Organize information, build reports, and help strengthen internal processes
  • Step in wherever support is needed to help the business grow

Work arrangement

This position is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week.
