The role focuses on recurring reporting, operational metrics, and data analysis across areas such as safety, claims, fleet, facilities, compliance and licensing, lender financing, procurement, and other day-to-day operational activities.

This position reviews operational information to spot patterns, gaps, and key drivers of performance, then turns those findings into clear recommendations that help leaders make informed decisions, strengthen operations, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, improve, and maintain reporting frameworks, data structures, and automated report workflows to raise data quality, standardize reporting, and support dependable analysis.
  • Create, update, distribute, and refine recurring operational reports for local, regional, and senior leadership on different schedules.
  • Analyze operational metrics, trends, and performance factors, use sound judgment to assess business issues, and provide practical recommendations to leadership.
  • Handle weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting, tracking, and analysis for safety, claims, fleet, lender financing, procurement, and related operational measures.
  • Work with regional leaders and other stakeholders to review processes, assess metrics, uncover root causes, build action plans, and apply best practices across the portfolio.
  • Lead and support assigned initiatives, projects, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational reporting, data analysis, business intelligence, or performance reporting.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing BI reports using Power BI, Tableau, or a similar platform.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel ability, including formulas, pivot tables, structured tables, and Power Query for data prep and reporting.
  • Experience preparing reports, identifying trends, and presenting findings to business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on Power BI experience, including data transformation, modeling, visualization, and DAX calculations.
  • Ability to query relational databases or other structured data sources using SQL.
  • Analytics certification such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), IIBA-CBDA, PMI-PBA, or a comparable credential.
  • Process improvement certification such as Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or above, or an equivalent certification.

Core Competencies

  • Strong prioritization and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting, analysis, and project requests in a fast-moving environment.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration, including gathering requirements, building reports and presentations, and communicating insights clearly.
  • Solid business acumen, with the ability to connect operational performance metrics to business outcomes and understand upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Attention to data quality and governance, including validation, documentation, SOP updates, and consistent reporting standards.
  • Capability in business intelligence and reporting using Power BI and Excel to develop dashboards, maintain data models, and support leadership decisions.
  • Comfort working with enterprise, financial, reporting, and operational systems to access and analyze information.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based bonus potential.
  • Opportunities to grow your career, with an internal promotion focus.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Paid vacation, paid holidays, and sick leave.
  • Supportive, team-oriented workplace culture.
