Role Overview
The Business Operations Analyst at HP strategically manages comprehensive and complex supply chain processes integral to making crucial decisions for capacity planning ranging from short to long term horizons. This role involves independent execution of intricate demand and supply alignment activities, connecting planning stages directly with operations while recognizing issues and evaluating their consequences.
Responsibilities
- Lead global cross-functional business unit planning teams to sustain and augment existing business practices.
- Define, assess, and utilize KPIs for ongoing enhancement of business operations, converting analyses into actionable business strategies.
- Contribute innovatively to priority projects by offering creative insights and formulating recommendations.
- Effectively communicate procedural requirements and directives to global planning teams.
- Collaborate with managerial staff to ensure global goals are met, overseeing efforts in reporting and monitoring.
- Organize and guide internal and leadership meetings to propel operational plans forward.
- Regularly review and upgrade business workflows to uphold regulatory and client standards.
- Mentor and support junior staff for their professional growth and development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possesses a graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Brings over 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably within supply chain or operations domains.
- Exhibits strong results-oriented mindset and adaptability in learning new skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency with digital tools and focuses on customer needs.
- Familiar with KPI management and influencing stakeholders within matrix organizations.
- Holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
- Skilled in continuous process improvement, data analysis, production planning, and effective communication.
