Job Summary

We seek an analytical and detail-focused Business Intelligence Executive to aid strategic decision-making by analyzing data, creating dashboards, and preparing MIS reports. The role involves collaborating with various departments to transform raw data into actionable insights, automate reporting, track KPIs, and boost operational productivity. Candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or MIS, proficient in SQL and BI platforms, are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, update, and refine interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or comparable BI software.
• Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports across various business sectors.
• Aggregate and verify data from different business systems.
• Track key performance indicators, identifying trends, potential risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Develop SQL queries to handle and analyze extensive datasets.
• Support automation of manual reporting to increase efficiency.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and uniformity of data in all reports.
• Work collaboratively with departments including Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR to capture reporting needs.
• Contribute to establishing standardized metrics and templates for reporting.
• Detect data inconsistencies and liaise with IT and business teams for prompt corrections.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and provide business insights as needed.
• Document reports, dashboards, and data standards thoroughly.
• Assist in business review meetings by creating presentations and performance analyses.
• Continuously seek ways to advance reporting processes and the presentation of data visualizations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analytical tasks.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel features such as Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups, and Charts.
• Fundamental understanding of databases, data modeling, and report generation.

• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Keen interest in learning emerging BI technologies and analytical methodologies.
• Experience with AI-powered tools for enhancing productivity, reporting, or business processes is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related domains.
• Additional certifications in Tableau, SQL, or Data Analytics are favorable.
• Previous experience ranging 2 to 4 years in Business Intelligence, MIS Reporting, Data Analytics, or Business Analysis.
• Familiarity with dashboard development and report automation.
• Exposure to ERP systems or business software is a plus.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or manufacturing industries is preferred but not essential.
