Role overview

This contract position is for a Business Intelligence Consultant who will work remotely from the United Kingdom. The assignment focuses on using advanced Excel capabilities to organize, analyze, and present data that supports AI model training and business decision-making. The expected commitment is 10 to 40 hours per week.

What you will do

Use advanced Excel techniques to structure, analyze, and present data that can be used for AI model training.
Partner with the client’s team to deliver practical and insightful business intelligence outputs.
Prepare, clean, and verify large datasets so they are accurate and suitable for AI systems.
Build and document BI workflows with clear communication in both written and spoken form.
Turn business questions into data-backed insights that help improve models.
Develop detailed Excel reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support AI training.

Requirements

Substantial experience in business intelligence or analytics with a strong Excel focus.
High-level command of advanced Excel tools, including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex findings to different audiences.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing time and deliverables effectively.
Good grasp of business operations and the ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.
Experience in cleaning, preparing, and validating large datasets for analytics or AI training work.

Additional information

Compensation is set at $40 to $50 per hour. The role is remote and contract-based. The workload may range from 10 to 40 hours each week. The application flow includes an application review followed by an interview stage.
