Business Intelligence Analyst (Excel)

Position Overview

This is a contract opportunity for a Business Intelligence Consultant specializing in Excel-based data analysis and BI solutions. The role entails working remotely with a flexible weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours. Compensation offered ranges from $40 to $50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced Excel capabilities to organize, review, and present data specifically aimed at training AI models.
• Partner closely with the client’s team to provide meaningful business intelligence insights.
• Prepare, cleanse, and validate extensive datasets to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of data used in AI systems.
• Create and document efficient BI workflows, ensuring clear, concise written and oral communication.
• Convert business challenges into actionable data-driven insights that improve AI model performance.
• Design and develop comprehensive Excel reports, dashboards, and visual displays for AI training objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in business intelligence or analytics roles with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel functions including Power Query, PivotTables, VBA scripting, and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex data concepts to diverse stakeholders verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment, managing time and productivity effectively.
• Robust knowledge of business processes and skill in converting business requirements into technical BI solutions.
• Experience handling large data sets for preparation, cleansing, and validation in analytics or AI training contexts.
