Job description
About the Company
Doyensys is a global Management & Technology Consulting firm specializing in Enterprise applications and Infrastructure Platform Support. With operations spanning India, the US, Mexico, and Canada, the company empowers clients to leverage innovation and adapt seamlessly to change, delivering next-generation IT services and solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dedicated Inside Sales team based in Chennai, working aligned with US time zones. This position is crucial as the initial touchpoint between Doyensys and prospective clients in North America. The BDR will lead outbound campaigns, develop professional relationships primarily via LinkedIn, execute direct calls targeting decision-makers, and arrange qualified meetings with senior US sales executives and their prospects. This quota-driven role demands a polished, resilient individual who thrives on initiating new business conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute multichannel outbound campaigns that combine email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach to engage North American target decision-makers.
- Utilize LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for social selling—building professional networks, sharing relevant content, and initiating dialogues with senior stakeholders.
- Make outbound and follow-up calls to IT, finance, and operations leaders to qualify prospects and schedule appointments.
- Assess leads against the ideal customer profile and specific qualification guidelines before passing them to the sales team.
- Schedule qualified meetings directly on senior US sales executives’ calendars and follow established handoff protocols.
- Support marketing-driven demand generation activities by driving webinar registrations and attendance at industry events.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date CRM records, including call notes, lead status, and campaign engagement.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to provide feedback on sales messaging, campaigns, and target account lists drawn from prospect interactions.
- Consistently attain or surpass weekly and monthly goals related to outreach volume, engagement conversations, and qualified meeting setting.
- Engage in ongoing training about company services, target sectors, and sales approaches.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in business development, inside sales, telesales, or lead generation, preferably targeting US or Western markets.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, demonstrating a confident, clear, and professional presence on phone and video calls with senior US executives.
- Proficient in LinkedIn for professional networking and outreach; experience with Sales Navigator is advantageous.
- Ability and willingness to work hours aligned with North American business time zones.
- Strong research, organizational, and multi-touch campaign management skills.
- Resilient and coachable mindset with a goal-oriented attitude; comfortable engaging in cold outreach and professionally managing objections.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement or prospecting tools is beneficial.
- Interest in enterprise technology and business software is a plus; exposure to Oracle, ERP, or similar enterprise applications is welcome but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related discipline.
Personal Attributes
- Highly self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
- Customer-centric mindset with solid business understanding.
- Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-moving work environment.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Professional integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
- Collaborative approach, able to work seamlessly across global time zones.
- Eagerness for continuous learning with a focus on enhancing sales performance.
