Job description

Overview

Join The Body Clinic to help establish and expand its operations in Germany. The company, a leader in aesthetic treatments and medically grounded health programs that originated in the Netherlands, has been active in Germany since 2025 with locations in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Leipzig, Frankfurt, and nationwide via telemedicine. This role suits individuals who enjoy building projects from scratch, structuring complex issues analytically, and working independently on projects from conception through to implementation alongside an experienced management team.

Role Description

As a Business Development & Operations Project Manager, you will collaborate directly with the founding team, taking charge of strategic and operational initiatives to propel the company's growth in Germany. Your work will span strategy, operations, and technology—ensuring completeness and consistency of data preparation, optimizing workflows, implementing new software tools, and developing scalable solutions for novel products and business models. You will work closely with the CEO and the executive team from the Netherlands, gaining insight into strategic decisions and the growth of a fast-expanding business. This individual contributor role involves high responsibility and autonomy in decision-making without personnel management duties.

Working Conditions

The position can be filled part-time or full-time with a workload between 80 and 100%. The job is primarily remote within Germany, with optional on-site work (1–2 days weekly) at the Berlin office if residing nearby.

Responsibilities

  • Drive forward strategic growth projects together with executive leadership.
  • Analyze markets, competitors, and potential sites for German expansion.
  • Develop business cases, decision-making frameworks, and project plans.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships, and business models.
  • Support establishing and executing strategic collaborations.
  • Manage cross-functional projects from initial idea to successful completion.
  • Review key performance indicators and derive actionable recommendations.
  • Lead the rollout of new software solutions—including planning, testing, bug fixing, and launch.
  • Collaborate closely with key users such as doctors, customer care staff, and management to translate feedback into product and process enhancements.
  • Advance automation efforts to enable scaling by continuously refining processes and tools.
  • Optimize existing business processes by assessing end-to-end workflows to reduce manual labor and increase efficiency.
  • Operationally contribute to the development of new products by designing scalable processes, defining workflows, and ensuring smooth integration with existing tools and processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed university degree in business administration, industrial engineering, health management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in project management, business development, operations, or a similar analytic-operational function, preferably with experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • 1–2 years of experience in management consulting is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with enthusiasm for structured handling of complex topics.
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets with experience in data analysis and KPI reporting; familiarity with Zapier or similar automation tools is a plus.
  • Experience analyzing, optimizing, and documenting business processes.
  • High self-motivation, accountability, and ability to drive implementation.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and meticulous working style.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously by structuring, prioritizing, and advancing them reliably.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English.
  • Interest in digital business models, healthcare, or telemedicine is beneficial but not mandatory.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to actively shape the expansion of The Body Clinic in Germany.
  • Direct cooperation with the CEO and Dutch executive management.
  • Flexible working hours with an 80–100% workload, allowing for part-time or full-time arrangements.
  • Extensive responsibility, creative freedom, and swift decision-making processes.
  • Exciting projects at the interface of strategy, operations, data, and technology.
  • Remote work within Germany or option to be onsite 1–2 days per week in Berlin.
  • International, friendly team culture characterized by speed and practical, hands-on mentality.
  • Regular team events and varied opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Meaningful work within a medically grounded health company.
  • Employee discount of 40% on aesthetic treatments at Yousthetics in Berlin.
