Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Thiruvananthapuram is focused on finding and qualifying prospects, creating new leads, and building interest through calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions. The role also involves explaining the company’s offerings, understanding customer needs, arranging product demonstrations or meetings for the sales team, and keeping CRM records accurate and up to date.
Key Work Areas
- Identify potential customers and assess whether they are a fit for the business.
- Build and nurture lead pipelines through phone outreach, email communication, and in-person conversations.
- Present the company’s products and services clearly and confidently.
- Capture customer needs and pass qualified opportunities to the sales team for follow-up.
- Track every activity and update customer information in the CRM system.
- Respond to inbound enquiries and proactively connect with target customer groups.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to improve messaging, exchange market feedback, and contribute to revenue and activity goals.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in inside sales and direct selling, with the ability to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Hands-on lead generation experience, including prospect research, list building, and outreach initiation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening.
- A business development approach with the ability to create relationships and spot growth opportunities.
- Comfortable working toward targets and KPIs, and familiar with CRM or sales engagement tools.
- Able to work on-site in Thiruvananthapuram and manage a busy outreach workload efficiently.
- Experience in telesales, directory services, advertising, or similar fields will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma; a qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
