About the Company
Temu is hiring a Business Development Manager for its growing team in the United States. This role is suited to someone who is energetic, experienced, and eager to contribute to a fast-scaling business alongside a team focused on meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong local relationships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands to expand the platform’s category offerings and improve customer value.
- Help merchandise partners get established on the platform and support their growth by shaping plans around positioning, product roadmap, brand promotion, and operating approach.
- Develop fresh initiatives based on the current state of each category, then execute those projects by coordinating resources and guiding merchants.
- Prepare industry analysis reports, use data to identify customer needs, and refine strategy based on market movements.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of operational experience, including backgrounds such as brand management or platform operations.
- Strong local relationships across seller and vendor networks will be considered an advantage.
- Solid analytical ability with experience reviewing industry trends, using data for project planning, and drawing clear conclusions.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and contribute innovative marketing ideas that support merchant growth.
- Strong problem-solving approach, self-drive, strategic thinking, and the flexibility to respond quickly to change.
- Comfortable handling pressure and managing logistics during high-demand periods.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual pay for this position is expected to fall between USD 80,000 and USD 200,000, with the final offer influenced by role-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, competencies, and work location.
Eligible regular full-time employees may also receive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, paid sick leave in line with applicable state and local regulations, and participation in a 401(k) plan.
