Job Objective
This role is focused on elevating Aon's presence in Saudi Arabia’s Central Region, aligning with the company’s vision and commercial strategies to drive profitable business growth by acquiring and nurturing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts in the Central Region, working closely with the Riyadh branch and broader Aon teams to fulfill growth targets.
- Build and sustain robust client relationships to broaden Aon's market footprint and boost sales in Riyadh.
- Design and implement strategic business and sales plans tailored for the territory, incorporating clear goals and performance indicators.
- Manage a consistent pipeline by qualifying prospects and steering the entire sales cycle from initial lead to deal closure.
- Conduct regular internal strategy meetings to review progress, set objectives, and coordinate priorities with leadership and stakeholders.
- Accurately prepare and submit monthly sales and pipeline reports utilizing company reporting systems.
- Research and analyze client needs and sector trends, especially in emerging areas like e-commerce and digital businesses, to inform solution innovation.
- Collect and interpret client feedback to guide enhancements in service delivery and product offerings.
- Identify leads through customer networks, market intelligence, and events; negotiate agreements adhering to Aon's commercial policies.
- Monitor competitor activities, regulatory changes, and market dynamics within the Central Region to uncover risks and opportunities.
- Plan and execute effective outreach strategies including lead generation, prospecting campaigns, and local marketing efforts in partnership with marketing teams.
- Organize client events, seminars, and marketing initiatives to support business development goals.
- Maintain current and comprehensive records of sales actions, opportunities, and client interaction within CRM and related systems.
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals; assist in preparing RFP/RFQ responses and managing contract renewals.
- Champion adherence to Aon’s policies, compliance standards, and ethical practices throughout client engagements and internal operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Riyadh Branch Manager and service teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing service excellence.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated business development expertise with a focus on acquiring new clients and growing sales pipelines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and engage senior-level stakeholders.
- Capability in strategic analysis and problem-solving to convert market insights into actionable business plans.
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software and pipeline tracking.
- Strong abilities in presenting, negotiating, and influencing decisions.
- Experience conducting market research and analyzing competitors.
- Self-driven with excellent ownership mindset, while fostering teamwork.
- Effective time management, organization, and keen attention to detail.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales within insurance broking, risk advisory, financial services, or professional services industries.
- Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales and revenue objectives.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi market dynamics, regulatory framework, and business environment specific to Riyadh and the Central Region.
