Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is based in Abu Dhabi and offers a hybrid work model, blending on-site responsibilities with remote flexibility. The primary focus will be on identifying and securing new business ventures, cultivating a robust sales pipeline, and managing the entire lifecycle of client deals. You will be instrumental in driving growth by understanding market dynamics, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal departments to tailor our services to meet client demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and pursue new business prospects.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive sales pipeline from initial contact to deal closure.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to inform business strategies.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
- Nurture and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Gather client feedback to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Monitor key performance indicators and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and revenue forecasting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within a B2B or service-oriented industry.
- Exceptional abilities in building client rapport, negotiating effectively, and closing deals, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning based on insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong presentation capabilities.
- Adaptability to a hybrid work environment and effective time management skills.
- Competence in using CRM software and standard office productivity tools.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- High ethical standards, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach focused on client value.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the Abu Dhabi or wider GCC market is beneficial.
