About the role
B2BE is seeking a driven Management Trainee to become part of its Business Development team within the IT software solutions sector in Auckland, New Zealand. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates who want more than a traditional sales role: it combines market expansion, partnership building, strategy support, and exposure to international business practices.

Key responsibilities
You will contribute to sales support, growth planning, customer engagement, market research, and performance tracking while learning from experienced team members.
- Help prepare and carry out sales plans, including lead generation, account handling, and responding to sales enquiries.
- Support business development initiatives by working with sales, marketing, and product teams to put strategies into action.
- Make sure business development activities stay aligned with company objectives and sales targets.
- Take part in client meetings and presentations to understand challenges faced by customers in different regions.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, stakeholders, investors, and suppliers.
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to create connections that may develop into partnerships.
- Research new markets, customer requirements, competitor activity, and wider business trends.
- Carry out SWOT analysis to identify areas where the business can expand or improve.
- Track sales and business development progress, then report on performance measures and key results.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis for senior management to support decision-making and growth planning.
- Join internal training sessions to strengthen sales capability, product understanding, and leadership potential.
- Work on international projects and collaborate with teams across multiple regions, gaining exposure to global sales methods and cross-cultural client management.
- May lead to overseas assignments, networking opportunities, and broader long-term career growth in international markets.
Requirements
The company is looking for applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or IT from a recognised institution. Fresh graduates are welcome, and previous experience is not required.
