Role and Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within warehousing, transportation, and third-party logistics (3PL) services.
- Generate leads by conducting market research, engaging in cold calls, visiting clients, and networking efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their logistics needs.
- Prepare competitive business proposals, establish pricing, and handle commercial agreements.
- Collaborate closely with operations and warehouse teams for seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Consistently meet monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Perform market analysis and monitor competitor activity.
- Regularly maintain and update customer data within CRM systems.
- Assist in contract negotiations and facilitate business deal closures.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction to foster long-term business relationships.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Possess 2 to 5 years of sales experience in 3PL, logistics, or supply chain sectors.
- Have a thorough understanding of warehousing and transportation operations.
- Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate ability to independently identify and convert leads.
- Be proficient with MS Office applications and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities as required.
