Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and performance-oriented Business Development Executive to spearhead B2B sales initiatives for a burgeoning startup in the electrical sector, based in Bangalore. Your primary focus will be on cultivating new business avenues, nurturing client connections, and consistently meeting sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business-to-business sales opportunities within the electrical industry.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, dealers, retailers, and other key industry players.
  • Conduct client meetings, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and engage in negotiations to secure sales.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of client needs to propose appropriate product solutions.

Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG sales or the electrical products/equipment domain.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in B2B sales strategies and client relationship management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience engaging with clients in the electrical industry, such as distributors, dealers, contractors, or project-based customers, or experience in FMCG.
  • A verifiable history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
