About the Role

We are collaborating with a dynamic early-stage venture capital fund based in London to appoint a Business Development & Ecosystem Associate. As the fund embarks on a significant growth phase, this role will be central in expanding the firm's network and enhancing its reputation within the venture capital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with founders, investors, limited partners (LPs), operators, corporates, and strategic collaborators.
  • Expand the firm's network, including scouts, referral partners, and trusted advisers.
  • Identify and foster opportunities to connect the fund with top-tier founders, investors, LPs, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team to enhance market insight and identify promising opportunities.
  • Represent the fund at various industry events and develop lasting relationships across the European venture ecosystem.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in venture capital, fundraising, startup partnerships, business development, or at early-stage tech companies is desirable.
  • Outgoing personality with a passion for forming long-lasting, authentic relationships.
  • Keen interest in startups, venture capital, and entrepreneurship.
  • Commercially savvy, proactive, and naturally inquisitive.
  • Enjoys networking and uncovering opportunities to create valuable introductions.
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Possibly already known within the startup ecosystem through investing, scouting, partnerships, community engagement, or as a go-to connector and advisor.
