Role overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Business Analyst to join the team in New Zealand. In this full-time on-site role, you will help improve how the business operates by studying current processes, collecting requirements, and turning insights into practical recommendations that support better performance and strategic decision-making.

What you will do

  • Work with stakeholders to capture, assess, and record business needs in a clear format.
  • Review existing workflows and identify opportunities to streamline or improve them.
  • Study operational and performance data to spot patterns, issues, and growth opportunities.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that help leaders make informed decisions.
  • Partner with teams across the business to deliver effective solutions and improvements.
  • Contribute to project planning, process design, and workflow optimization efforts.
  • Assist with testing, rollout, and user acceptance activities for new systems and process changes.
  • Track KPIs and other business metrics to measure progress and performance.
  • Prepare business cases and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
  • Make sure project outputs stay aligned with business goals and agreed requirements.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline.
  • Some prior exposure to business analysis, operations analysis, project coordination, or a related area is preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability with good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SQL, or comparable business intelligence tools is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Good planning, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working on your own as well as within a team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in New Zealand.

This role is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and is offered as a full-time position.
