Role overview

This position centers on improving billing and finance-related platforms by shaping system design, refining workflows, and driving enhancements as the product lead for billing solutions. The goal is to convert business needs into scalable technical outcomes, strengthen invoicing accuracy, and coordinate effectively with Finance, Operations, and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the product direction for billing system functions, setup, and ongoing improvements.
  • Convert requirements from billing, accounts payable, and finance stakeholders into clear product specifications.
  • Build billing rules, charge logic, and workflow designs that support precise invoicing.
  • Collect business needs and turn them into functional documentation.
  • Work closely with engineering teams during implementation and feature upgrades.
  • Set up billing modules and create automation logic that improves operational efficiency.
  • Help onboard new customers and establish appropriate billing structures.
  • Serve as the connection point between Finance, Operations, and Engineering to keep system capabilities aligned.
  • Prepare and deliver internal training, while keeping product workflows and configuration records up to date.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Applicants should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst, Product Owner, or System Analyst roles.
  • Hands-on exposure to billing, finance, or ERP systems is expected.
  • A solid grasp of business operations and system workflows is necessary.
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams on software or system implementation is needed.
  • Strong ability to document requirements and communicate clearly is essential.

Preferred experience

  • Exposure to billing applications, ERP, TMS, WMS, or other financial platforms is a plus.
  • Experience creating functional specifications or user stories is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with system setup and workflow design is preferred.
  • Background in logistics, 3PL, or supply chain environments is advantageous.
