Job description
Role Overview
This opportunity is for a seasoned Business Analyst with a solid background in banking and financial services, supporting transformation programs and digital change initiatives. The role calls for someone who can work across business and technology teams, shape requirements clearly, and contribute effectively in an Agile delivery setup.
Core Responsibilities
- Collect, assess, and record business and functional needs in a structured format.
- Lead interviews, discovery discussions, and workshops with key stakeholders to uncover requirements.
- Work closely with business representatives, product owners, and technology teams to define solution expectations.
- Convert business objectives into functional specs and user stories.
- Assist with solution design, requirement checks, and SIT/UAT execution.
- Take part in Agile activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Map business processes and identify gaps for regional or multi-country rollouts.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements during the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and help drive successful delivery outcomes.
- Produce BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and other functional documents.
Experience & Domain Background
The role requires 5 to 8 years of Business Analyst experience in banking or financial services. Strong exposure to Agile, Scrum, or iterative delivery methods is important, along with a track record of handling requirements from discovery through implementation. Experience with regional or multi-location delivery is considered an advantage.
Mandatory Requirement
Applicants must have either banking / wealth management business experience or practical Avaloq functional and/or technical expertise.
Banking Domain Knowledge
Experience in one or more of the following areas is expected: wealth management, private banking, credit and lending, investments, capital markets, or digital banking.
Technical Exposure
Useful platform experience includes Avaloq in either a functional or technical capacity, as well as exposure to Aladdin, Salesforce, MarginMan, or FinIQ. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices, user story writing, process modelling, requirement traceability, functional documentation, and SIT/UAT support is also relevant.

This position is based in Singapore and follows an onsite contract arrangement.
