About the Role
Scion Technology is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a leading retail technology company based in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a hybrid work arrangement. The role is product-centric and client-facing, focusing on translating client needs into actionable requirements, fostering alignment across teams, supporting the delivery process including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring successful production deployments.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements for new client onboarding processes.
- Manage requirements for client-initiated change requests, including scope, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the product backlog by providing input and assisting with prioritization.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Finance, and Product Operations teams to align on and deliver product changes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate the sign-off and deployment process into production.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Update release-related help guides and API documentation.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner within the retail sector.
- Proven experience delivering solutions in a product-led, Agile development environment.
- Demonstrated user-centric thinking and approach.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and external partners.
Compensation & Benefits
This full-time role offers an annual base salary between $115,000 and $145,000, dependent on experience. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with paid time off.
