Job description

Role overview

This is an on-site Business Analyst role based in Abu Dhabi. The assignment begins with an initial contract term of 6 months and may be extended based on requirements.

Eligibility

Applications are limited to professionals who already hold a Freelance Visa or Golden Visa, or candidates who are prepared to self-sponsor. Visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Client requirement gathering and analysis

You will work with clients to understand business goals, current challenges, and what they need from the solution. A major part of the role is converting those needs into clear technical requirements, workflows, and specifications that delivery and development teams can execute against.

You will also keep structured documentation of requirements, use cases, and deliverables so everyone involved has a consistent view of expectations throughout the solution lifecycle.

Data analysis and insights

The position involves reviewing client and operational data to spot trends, identify performance gaps, and uncover opportunities for improvement. You will turn those findings into practical recommendations that help improve delivery processes and strengthen client engagement.

You will also prepare reports, dashboards, and visual summaries to share progress and key insights with internal stakeholders and clients.

Process improvement and optimization

You will look for ways to improve internal delivery processes and suggest changes that increase efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. This includes working with different teams to simplify workflows and support a scalable, consistent client experience.

In addition, you will support the Director of Customer Success in applying strong practices around project management, documentation, and communication.

Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

The role acts as a bridge between client-facing teams and technical teams, ensuring requirements and timelines are communicated clearly and aligned across all stakeholders.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to keep delivery moving smoothly and to support ongoing solution improvement. You may also help organize workshops, training sessions, and recurring client meetings, while capturing feedback and documenting outcomes for future action.

Skills and background

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline is expected. An advanced qualification or a business analysis certification is considered an advantage.

The role calls for at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar position within a delivery-driven or technology-focused environment. Strong exposure to procurement and/or ERP implementations is important.

Success in this role also depends on strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a proven capacity to translate business needs into actionable outputs. You should also be comfortable communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is required, along with familiarity with project tracking tools like Jira or Asana. Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or SaaS products is an added advantage, especially if you have experience in financial services or the technology sector.
