Job description
Role Overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity with occasional travel for a Brand Strategist and Copywriter at The Leadership Leverage. The role supports a fast-growing personal branding and executive leadership firm that works with more than 500 executives and entrepreneurs, with engagements typically ranging from $10,000 to $125,000. The business is expanding toward eight figures, and this position exists to help handle a growing client roster while maintaining a premium standard of strategy and execution.
The work is not limited to writing. It is a high-trust, client-facing strategic seat for someone who can work directly with founders and high-value operators, uncover the story and intellectual property they have not yet articulated, and shape it into brand architecture that strengthens market authority.
Why This Role Exists
The client load is increasing faster than the current team can absorb, while quality expectations remain unchanged. This hire is an addition to the existing brand and strategy function, with a clear opportunity to grow into a more senior strategic role for someone who consistently performs at the level expected by premium clients.
What You Will Be Responsible For
You will develop origin stories for clients by drawing out the pivotal moments, proof points, and founding narratives that establish authority before content is published. You will also create authority architecture documents that define a client’s positioning system, category, framework, owned language, and proprietary method in a way that differentiates them from competitors.
The role requires direct collaboration with clients, including asking strong diagnostic questions, identifying positioning opportunities, and uncovering potential revenue ideas they may not have considered. In addition, you will write across multiple formats and channels, including websites, funnels, email sequences, webinars, signature talks, and social positioning assets, with a focus on both conversion and clarity.
You will be expected to keep content visible and search-aware by applying SEO and marketing-informed thinking to your writing. You will also manage several client engagements at once, maintain timelines, organize your workload, and flag issues early so they do not become client-facing problems.
Who This Role Suits
The ideal person is self-driven, highly reliable under pressure, and able to operate independently without heavy supervision. You should be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and multiple premium clients simultaneously, with the ability to stay composed and execute in a structured way.
You will need strong storytelling instincts and the ability to find the compelling narrative inside a business that may initially seem ordinary. A systems-oriented approach is important as well, since this role combines creative thinking with process, documentation, and repeatable execution.
Because this is a client-facing seat, you must be comfortable in high-stakes conversations with founders and executives, and you should present with the confidence and substance expected in premium advisory settings. Trustworthiness is essential, since you may handle sensitive business details, financial information, and strategy for every client you support.
Experience and Skill Expectations
This position calls for proven experience writing and developing strategy for executives, high-net-worth individuals, or premium professional service clients, ideally in personal branding, executive coaching, or similar environments. A portfolio should demonstrate real brand storytelling rather than generic marketing copy.
You should understand SEO fundamentals and how content strategy contributes to visibility and growth. Experience managing several client accounts at the same time is important, as is the ability to write effectively in long-form, short-form, and direct-response formats. Comfort working directly with clients in calls and strategy sessions is also required.
Growth Path
This opportunity is designed to expand with the right person. You will begin by supporting the brand strategy function, learning the company’s approach, and taking ownership of client deliverables. As you demonstrate consistent performance with top-tier clients, the role can evolve into a senior strategic position with greater autonomy, influence, and ownership over the brand and content function.
A previous team member followed a similar path, starting in the organization and later stepping into a leadership role in operations. That same kind of trajectory is available for the right candidate.
Who Should Not Apply
This role is not a fit for someone who needs highly detailed instructions before beginning work, can only write but cannot handle strategic client conversations, has limited bandwidth for multiple accounts, avoids documenting and sharing processes, wants a quiet behind-the-scenes writing role, or cannot consistently meet deadlines without reminders.
Application Instructions
Interested candidates are asked to send a single email to the provided hiring contact with a specific subject line format that includes their name. The application must contain four items only: one brand story or positioning sample that the candidate is proud of, a resume with one page preferred, one sentence explaining why they are suited to sit across from multi-million-dollar clients and define their identity, and a 90-second video explaining why they are the best fit for the role.
The video should be treated like an audition and recorded with a professional background and attire suitable for a high-level client meeting. Applications that do not follow the requested format will not be considered, as following precise instructions is part of the evaluation.
Additional Notes
The firm operates under the Personal Brand Legacy Protocol™ and emphasizes the idea that positioning creates opportunity.
