Our mission is to make at-home manicures simple, fast, and stylish.

About the Role

We are seeking a Brand Creative Strategist to conceptualize our campaign ideas, enhance brand awareness, and foster long-term customer trust. If you are passionate about ideas and words, and can translate brand and product priorities, cultural moments, and consumer insights into compelling campaigns, this role is for you. You will own the creative vision and storytelling for unique campaign moments, collaborating with our design and activation teams to bring them to life.

Your Impact

You will be instrumental in defining the creative direction and cohesive narrative of our campaigns, making Doonails stand out. Through strong concepts and impactful copy, you will make the brand tangible, build awareness and trust, and transform trends and insights into timely, relevant campaign moments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts and integrated campaigns from initial insight to execution, focusing on strengthening brand awareness and trust.
  • Translate brand and product priorities into compelling ideas and storytelling that resonate across all channels, both online and offline.
  • Craft and refine copy for campaigns and other brand communications, including social media, digital, traditional advertising, and film.
  • Design awareness and trust-driven campaign strategies, understanding how various channels collectively build a brand.
  • Immerse yourself in culture, translating beauty consumer behavior, social platform trends, and the cultural/seasonal calendar into relevant, timely campaign moments.
  • Utilize consumer insights and analytics to set pre- and post-campaign goals, measure awareness, trust, and brand lift, and align creative impact with business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, social media, influencer marketing, PR, media, and product teams, as well as external partners and agencies, providing clear creative direction.
  • Confidently present campaign strategies and results to leadership, offering a strong strategic perspective that challenges assumptions and fosters alignment.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in Brand Strategy, Brand/Campaign Marketing, or Creative Strategy, preferably within the beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands sector.
  • Demonstrate strong conceptualization skills and a keen sense for copy, as ideas and the words that convey them are central to this role.
  • Exhibit a brand-builder's instinct, understanding how to capture attention, build credibility, and foster trust beyond short-term performance metrics.
  • Be deeply immersed in culture and social platforms, with fluency in beauty consumer trends and what makes content effective.
  • Show a solid understanding of how campaigns build a brand over time across social, digital, and traditional media, including social trends and mechanics.
  • Be proficient in managing budgets, KPIs, and data to ground your ideas and demonstrate their impact.
  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment with a structured approach and proactive attitude.
  • Present an impressive portfolio showcasing your relevant work.
