About the Role
We are seeking a commercially focused Brand Portfolio Manager to enhance and expand our brand portfolio by identifying products and partners that resonate with customer demand. This role involves leveraging market insights, consumer trends, and data analytics to uncover new opportunities, foster robust brand partnerships, and efficiently onboard new collaborators. Success depends on making strategic, data-informed decisions to maintain a portfolio that is relevant, competitive, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry insights to pinpoint high-potential brands.
- Establish and sustain a strong pipeline of prospective brand partners across current and emerging product categories.
- Oversee the entire onboarding process for new brands, emphasizing marketplace and consignment partnerships.
- Negotiate commercial agreements aimed at business expansion while controlling inventory risks.
- Collaborate closely with Digital, Marketing, and Content teams to ensure effective brand launches and continued growth.
- Track performance indicators including traffic, conversion rates, assortment effectiveness, and overall commercial contributions, and act as necessary.
- Regularly reassess the portfolio by introducing new opportunities and retiring underperforming brands.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to guarantee smooth execution, product availability, and operational readiness.
- Propose outright purchases only when justified by strong commercial and demand data.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 4 to 7 years of experience in buying, merchandising, category management, marketplace partnerships, or brand acquisition.
- Familiar with consumer brands, distributors, retailers, or marketplace platforms.
- Exhibits strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and convert insights into actionable business strategies.
- Demonstrates excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially oriented with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

- Experience broadening product assortments while managing inventory risks effectively.
