Job description
Company Overview
GIGABRANDS is an expanding, full-service Amazon agency that currently supports more than 50 brands. The company blends neuromarketing, AI-led strategy, and deep Amazon know-how to help eCommerce brands rise in competitive categories. Founded by Hunter Harris, the business is strongly focused on client ROI and on producing results that are both measurable and meaningful.
Over the last three years, the agency has grown rapidly and is steadily establishing itself as a well-known name in the Amazon agency space. Its services cover PPC, SEO, catalog management, creative, and brand strategy, all handled in-house by a team committed to client outcomes.
Culture and Values
The company culture is built around six guiding principles that are actively used in meetings, strategy discussions, and client work:
- Be a Moral Human — act with integrity and do the right thing for clients, teammates, and everyone around you.
- Improve 1% Daily — keep learning, sharpen communication, and become more efficient every day.
- Extreme Ownership — take responsibility for actions and results without blame or excuses.
- Solve Problems, Don't Create Them — bring proposed solutions when challenges arise.
- Make an Impact — focus on work that creates meaningful, measurable outcomes.
- Fail Fast & Fail Forward — test bold ideas, learn quickly from what fails, and improve through iteration.
These values are not just displayed; they are reviewed and discussed during Pod Meetings, where each team member shares how they applied one of the values during the week.
Role Summary
The Brand Manager is a key leadership position that sits between client success, strategy, and internal coordination. In this role, you serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts and help keep the Pod operating efficiently and at a high standard.
You will oversee a portfolio of Amazon brands and guide a dedicated Pod made up of an Account Manager, PPC Specialist, and Graphic Designer. The role requires strong ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to keep work moving smoothly while staying ahead of client needs.
This is a client-facing leadership role for someone who enjoys Amazon brand management, works well in a fast-moving environment, and takes pride in building long-term client relationships.
Client Account Management
- Handle all client communication, including email, Slack, and meetings, and act as the agency’s face for your accounts.
- Oversee a portfolio of Amazon brands with a strong focus on growth, retention, and proactive client updates.
- Develop account strategy ahead of client requests and bring recommendations before they are asked for.
- Review reports, presentations, and other deliverables from the PPC Specialist and Account Manager before anything is sent to the client.
- Monitor sales goals and growth KPIs each week, and escalate budget issues, underperformance, or target misses as soon as they appear.
- Maintain clear 30/60/90-day objectives for each account and keep progress moving steadily.
- Share positive updates and wins with clients as they happen rather than waiting for scheduled meetings.
- Build strong relationships that go beyond performance metrics by understanding each client’s business goals, internal dynamics, and pressure points.
- Follow up persistently if a client becomes unresponsive, including phone calls or text messages when necessary.
Team Leadership and Pod Management
- Lead the Pod with accountability and direction across the Account Manager, PPC Specialist, and Graphic Designer.
- Assign tasks in ClickUp with clear start dates, end dates, time estimates, and priority levels.
- Sort and route incoming requests before handing them to the team so focus time is protected.
- Run Pod check-ins every two weeks to stay aligned on account status, priorities, and workload.
- Manage capacity across the full Pod, not just your own responsibilities.
- Coach and support Junior Brand Managers and Account Managers as the team expands.
- Set the standard for behavior and execution by consistently demonstrating the company’s core values.
Operations and Process Excellence
- Keep ClickUp boards fully updated, with all tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups properly tracked.
- Record every task, whether it comes from meetings, audits, recurring work, or ad hoc requests, with dates, estimates, and priority levels.
- After each client meeting, convert notes and action items into ClickUp tasks by the end of the day.
- Review Slack and email daily, then add new ad hoc tasks to ClickUp with time estimates by end of day.
- Set up all recurring internal and external tasks in ClickUp at the beginning of each week.
- Store client data, strategy notes, and decisions in shared tools such as ClickUp, Notion, and the Central Brain.
- Use the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize work and delegate appropriately.
- Ensure meeting recordings are captured through tl;dv and processed with Google Gemini for notes.
- Introduce at least one automation or workflow improvement every week.
- Review new strategies, capture outcomes, and share learnings with the Pod.
Client Meeting Standards
- Prepare thoroughly for each client meeting by reviewing the deck, checking that prior action items are addressed, and briefing the Account Manager and PPC Specialist.
- After the meeting, create all ClickUp tasks before the end of the day, assign them to the right Pod members with dates and time estimates, send a summary to the client when needed, and update the 30/60/90-day tracker.
Culture and Development
- Take part in internal team-building and peer-learning sessions called “husks,” where team members collaborate and learn from senior leaders.
- Attend weekly upskilling classes and contribute actively; Senior Brand Managers also mentor others on the team.
- Read and apply ideas from Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Own Your Day, Own Your Life by Aubrey Marcus as part of the operating culture.
- Be ready to take on broader responsibilities as the company grows.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in brand management, account management, or eCommerce marketing.
- Practical Amazon experience across PPC, SEO, catalog management, and creative optimization.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple client relationships while producing measurable outcomes.
- Strong leadership ability with confidence working across functions and time zones.
- Highly organized approach to task tracking, reporting, and follow-through.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including client presentations, strategic briefs, and structured meetings.
- Hands-on experience with ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar project management tools.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, client-facing environment.
- Self-driven mindset with a focus on solutions rather than complaints.
- Agency experience across multiple brands or clients is preferred.
- Familiarity with Notion, tl;dv, Google Gemini, Helium 10, and Data dive is a plus.
- Experience using the Eisenhower Matrix or similar prioritization methods is preferred.
- Previous mentoring or people-management experience is preferred.
Benefits
- Direct ownership of a meaningful client portfolio where your decisions affect growth.
- A clear path toward Brand Director and senior leadership positions.
- Weekly upskilling sessions and internal husks for ongoing development.
- A values-led environment centered on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Access to a leadership framework shaped by Extreme Ownership and high-performance habits.
- Remote-first, full-time work aligned with US working hours.
- Opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing agency making a strong impact in the Amazon ecosystem.
