Role overview
Jetour is looking for a Brand Director to lead brand direction and marketing execution for the Australian market. The role calls for someone with an international outlook, strong cross-cultural understanding, and a genuine interest in the automotive sector. Jetour is especially open to foreign professionals who are already based in China and can contribute global perspective to the brand’s local growth in Australia.
Brand strategy and positioning
- Shape Jetour’s brand positioning for Australia, including the core message and visual identity guidelines, while adapting them appropriately for the local market.
- Create yearly brand communication themes and action plans grounded in a strong understanding of Australian consumers, especially families, outdoor-focused audiences, and other priority segments.
Integrated and digital marketing
- Design and coordinate both online and offline campaigns such as motor shows, test-drive activations, social media campaigns, website activity, SEO/SEM, and content-led marketing.
- Oversee local digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Ads, with a focus on tracking and improving return on investment.
- Work closely with Sales and Network Development teams to turn marketing interest into qualified showroom visits.
Public relations and media relations
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Australian automotive media, lifestyle publications, and key opinion leaders.
- Take ownership of media drive activities, press release writing, crisis communication, and ongoing monitoring of brand reputation.
- Represent Jetour at industry forums such as FCAI conferences and at environmental or social responsibility initiatives that strengthen community trust in the brand.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should bring at least 8 years of experience across marketing and brand management, including a minimum of 2 years in the Australian automotive or consumer goods space. A strong grasp of Australia’s digital marketing environment, media ecosystem, and customer behaviour is essential. Experience leading new product launches or turning around brand performance will be highly valued. English must be at native level or professionally fluent, with the ability to draft and refine press releases in English.
