About Roku

Roku is a leading TV streaming platform in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and its long-term goal is to help power television experiences worldwide. The company helped bring streaming to the TV and works to connect viewers with the content they enjoy, help publishers grow and monetize audiences, and give advertisers effective ways to reach people.

Roku is a fast-growing public company where every team member is expected to contribute meaningfully from day one. The environment is built around collaboration, ownership, and cross-functional problem solving.

About the Team

The advertising organization at Roku operates with a strong team-first mindset. The Client Services group focuses on growing and managing advertiser partnerships and helping clients achieve their business goals by guiding them through the evolving advertising landscape.

About the Role

Roku is looking for an experienced Brand Activation Manager to support the Ad Sales Client Services team. This role is centered on project management, partnership with sales, process improvement, and driving better outcomes for sponsorship offerings. You will help build team-wide processes, create and refine standard operating procedures, support business development efforts, and coordinate with multiple functions across the company.

The position works closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Client Services, and Roku Brand Studio. It also includes ownership of campaign escalations, especially for high-priority accounts, along with resolving issues in a timely and effective way. Success in this role depends on strong project management, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to build productive relationships across the organization.

Working Model

This is a hybrid position. Employees are expected in the office Monday through Thursday, with Friday available for work from home.

Compensation

For New York, the estimated annual base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, certifications, and location.

Benefits

This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability coverage, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major initiatives with client teams for sponsorships across Sales, Client Services, Marketing, Design, UX, Ad Operations, and Content to improve products, standardize workflows, and support automation launches.
  • Run kickoff meetings for campaign execution with both client-facing and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver and manage new-to-market executions throughout the sales cycle using a flexible, solutions-driven approach.
  • Create and refine sponsorship best practices that help sales and client services teams address client needs.
  • Improve the quality of tools, operating procedures, and internal processes used for client and product support.
  • Build a strong understanding of Roku’s platform and ad offerings so you can clearly explain the brand value they bring to client advertising goals.
  • Work with ad sales account executives on new business pitches, QBRs, creative recommendations, and custom ideas, including supporting upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on go-to-market planning and new product rollouts for client teams.
  • Oversee the full sponsorship operations workflow for ad sales business.
  • Serve as the main contact for client support groups, especially Ad Operations, and help improve internal efficiency from pitch through launch.
  • Gather and relay feedback from clients, sales, and client services to product and product marketing teams.
  • Manage campaign escalations and help drive timely resolution on important accounts.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in account management or client services at an ad tech company, or in media planning at an agency.
  • Background in display and video advertising, ideally with a premium publisher or agency.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently while following team policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organization skills plus strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to build relationships quickly by phone or email.
  • Comfort working across teams and using judgment and flexibility to balance competing priorities.
  • Professional, positive, and confident when handling frequent deadlines for multiple internal and external customers.
  • Analytical mindset with a process-oriented, deadline-driven, and project-management-focused approach.
  • Collaborative style and willingness to work proactively with coastal markets to gain insights and grow the marketplace.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and focused on finding practical solutions.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with digital ad serving tools for video and display advertising.
