About Roku

Roku is a leading TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with ambitions to power television experiences worldwide. The company helped bring streaming to the TV and aims to connect the entire television ecosystem by serving viewers, publishers, and advertisers.

As a fast-growing public company, Roku offers the chance to contribute from day one and make an impact for millions of streamers while building experience across multiple disciplines.

About the Team

The Viewer Product Team helps viewers around the world discover and enjoy entertainment through the Roku experience. The International Product Team partners with specialists and business leaders to build and execute roadmaps across Roku’s global markets.

This group works across functions to understand customer and partner needs, evaluate market opportunities, analyze data for insights, shape go-to-market plans for new features, and coordinate closely with marketing, sales, merchandising, data science, engineering, and other product teams.

About the Role

Roku is seeking a strategic, growth-oriented, collaborative product manager to lead viewer OS/platform product management in the UK. You will own the UK growth and engagement direction, manage the product roadmap, and identify priorities that support Roku’s wider business goals in the market.

This role is central to accelerating Roku’s UK expansion and helping shape a strategic plan that positions the company as a future leader in UK media and streaming. You will contribute to setting market goals and work alongside other leaders to help define the broader strategy.

The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment with strategic thinking, practical execution, and comfort operating in a matrixed environment. Success in this role requires trust-building, roadmap management, problem solving, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving collaborative setting.

The position is based in London and reports to the Director of Product, Management, International Growth. It requires travel within the UK and internationally, including visits to the Cambridge and Manchester offices.

Responsibilities

  • Own and refine Roku’s UK viewer OS product roadmap.
  • Lead the UK product strategy for growth and engagement in partnership with local leaders.
  • Align key stakeholders around market metrics and goals, and drive outcomes through product launches and partner-led initiatives.
  • Design and support experimentation tailored to the needs of the UK market.
  • Make sure local opportunities and requirements are included in cross-functional planning and translate into measurable business impact.
  • Strengthen collaboration between the International Product team and UK-based teams such as marketing, ad sales, content distribution, and monetization.
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to improve feature delivery and execution quality.
  • Share strategy and progress clearly with audiences at multiple levels, including senior leaders in the UK and internationally.

Requirements

  • Background in product management.
  • Substantial experience in the UK TV or streaming sector, with a strong grasp of the ecosystem, technology landscape, and customer expectations.
  • Exposure to working for or alongside major UK media leaders or partners.
  • Practical experience in product-led growth.
  • Experience in lifecycle marketing, user engagement, activation, or long-term retention strategy.
  • Strong capability in strategy, prioritization, organization, and execution.
  • Proven record of collaborating across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and related functions to deliver work end to end.
  • Excellent communication and executive/stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and solve complex problems with straightforward or unconventional solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role. Roku’s standard approach is office-based work from Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally open for remote work, unless the role or office policy requires otherwise.

Benefits

Roku offers a broad benefits package designed to support employees and their families. This includes global access to mental health and financial wellness resources, plus local statutory and voluntary benefits that may cover healthcare, life, accident, disability, commuter, and retirement options.

Employees also receive time off for vacation and personal needs, though benefits can vary by location and by role. Candidates should confirm details with the recruiter for the specific location.

Accommodations

Roku welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and provides reasonable accommodations and adjustments in line with applicable law. If you need support during any stage of the hiring process, you can contact the company’s Employee Relations team.

Culture

Roku emphasizes a fast-paced, collaborative environment where employees focus on the company’s success, work well with others, and keep egos in check. The culture values humor, independent thinking, bold action, and strong execution.

The company sees itself as a team of problem-solvers who do not stop at ideas; solutions must be built and delivered to customers. This practical, action-oriented approach has shaped Roku since 2002.
