Role overview
The Boarding House Parent will support the smooth day-to-day running of the boarding house in Erode, Tamil Nadu. This role centers on student care, supervision, welfare, and communication, helping create a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment.
What you will do
- Support the everyday functioning of the boarding house.
- Keep boarding students safe and ensure their well-being.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee boarding house activities.
- Track and document student behavior, concerns, and incidents in records and reports.
- Stay in regular contact with parents and guardians about student progress and any issues that arise.
Skills needed
- Clear interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence in supervising and guiding groups of students.
- Good organization and record management habits.
Required background
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Prior experience in a boarding or residential setting is preferred.
- First aid certification will be considered an advantage.
