Role overview
This remote contract position is for a Biology Expert who will support the development of next-generation AI systems. The focus is on bringing strong domain knowledge to the creation, review, and improvement of high-quality training content. Prior AI experience is not required; deep subject expertise is the key requirement.
What you will do
- Examine technical and scientific materials and pull out the information most relevant to the subject area.
- Create, check, and improve biology-focused questions and solutions that are grounded in real-world scenarios.
- Review biological documents, research papers, and datasets to build accurate assessment content.
- Develop and validate questions centered on data retrieval, calculations, and analytical reasoning.
- Write clear explanations and feedback that help improve model understanding and output quality.
- Partner with remote multidisciplinary teams to maintain accuracy, depth, and consistency.
- Use your subject knowledge to help solve complex biology-related problems.
- Work on your own, manage deadlines, and deliver strong output with limited supervision.
- Support ongoing improvements in data quality and workflow processes.
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years of professional or academic experience in biology or a closely related discipline, whether in academia, a lab, or industry.
- Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical and scientific documents.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience producing or assessing technical content, such as reports, studies, assessments, or problem sets.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote setting.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working with technical documentation and analytical tasks.
Preferred background
- Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related field.
- Experience in interdisciplinary or research-oriented projects.
- Exposure to computational biology or data analysis tools is an advantage.
